Live 'In Company' Projects

A key component of the MBA at Ulster is the completion of an 'In Company' project. Students will work in partnership with a host organization managing a project (typically consultancy based) of benefit to the company. The length and terms of reference for the project are negotiable but are typically 6-8 weeks (part time) in length.

This scheme has run at the university for a number of years with organisations from the private, public and social economy sectors reporting great benefits. We have found that many organisations use students to carry out specific projects such as research into potential markets or acting in a consultancy capacity for the company.

Previous projects have taken place in a wide variety of organizations including household names such as Royal Bank of Scotland and Nike.
