The Department of Accounting offers a range of academic and vocational programmes embracing both non-degree and degree courses at various levels. These provide opportunities to study in a wide variety of Accounting, Finance and Business related disciplines. 

Several of these programmes (both the full-time and part-time variations) gain significant exemptions from professional examinations of the major accounting bodies (for example, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants etc.)
